Transportation:
We provide free transportation to the
VA
medical facilities in Cleveland, Brecksville and Canton. Please phone our
office for details.
Please
notify the office as soon as you know you have an appointment and will need
travel assistance.
We will need to know the following when you call in
for travel.

The
VA Medical Center where you have your appointment.

The
Date and Time of your appointment

The
Department or Doctor you will be seeing.
Our
office will call you the day before your appointment to verify your ride
and give you a general pick-up time.
Our vans leave early each morning and many times the
trip can be an all day event. Therefore, you may want to be sure
to have a book/magazine and money for snacks or lunch. Please be
prepared for an all day trip.
Our van will pick you up at your home.
Occasionally, we will ask some veterans to meet us at our building
parking lot.
In the case of bad weather, a driver may determine
not to make the trip. In that case, you will need to call to
reschedule your appointment.
We ask that you notify the
VA Medical Center that you are a Van Rider and request morning
appointments. |
